The Norwich Municipal Ice Rink is a not for profit facility that is dedicated to promoting lifetime recreation through participation in ice sports. The Rink has a 200’ x 85’ NHL regulation ice surface, four large locker rooms, a conference / party room, a concession stand and a full service pro shop. We offer daily public skating sessions, birthday party packages, group and private skating lessons, adult hockey leagues and open stick time. Residents of Norwich, Taftville, Occum and Yantic, senior citizens, and members of the U.S. Armed Forces receive reduced admission rates. Group rates are available for organizations with 10 or more members attending a public

skating session, advanced notice is required. Rental skates, public skating passes and private rentals are available.

The Norwich Skating School mission is to promote the continued growth of recreational ice skating. We understand the difficult times in our state with such financial issues such as high gas prices and the rising cost of living. Our fees  are the lowest in the area. Norwich Skating School encourages fun, fitness, safety, and good sportsmanship. 

 The Norwich Skating School practices the promotion of equality regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, military status and or financial status.
