Figure Skating camp

The Norwich Ice Rink would like to welcome you to our Spring 2010 Figure Skating Camp. Whether you are aspiring to your USFS Gold Medal or ISI Freestyle 10 level, our school can help move you closer to your goal! NIR Learn to Skate program or those who are currently taking private lessons.
We offer two one-week sessions, skaters are welcome to attend either or both! On and off ice group class instruction, skating exhibition and camp t-shirt are included in the camp fee.
This camp provides skaters with over 3 hours of ice time per day. On-Ice clinics will focus on edgework, spins and jumps while Off-Ice clinics will include stretching, ballet, strength and conditioning.
The Camp will be staffed by NIR Figure Skating Staff. Skaters may bring their own lunch or purchase one from concession for $7.00 per day. Skaters need to bring sneakers and a change of clothes and extra socks for the Off-Ice Clinic.
Additional instruction can be provided by the Director. Private lesson fees are not included in the cost of the camp. If you are interested in taking private lessons please call the Skating School Office at (860) 892-2555 to arrange lessons. Prices vary per instructor.
